Silent Retreat in Tiruvannamalai, India
Dates TBC for Dec17/Jan18
We are proud to announce the 5th successive silent yoga retreat in Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadur, India.
The venue has changed this year and we will be staying at the Anandha Niketan Ashram overlooking Arunachala. This was our first choice of accommodation boasting mature gardens surrounding the accommodation and yoga hall. The ashram is set in a quiet area and the people who stay there including the owners are respectful and mindful of silence.
Tiruvannamalai is the home of the famous holy mountain of Arunachala and one of the greatest yogis of the last century Sri Ramana Maharshi lived there most of his life.
The retreat begins in the afternoon Sunday 18th December 2016 and ends in the morning of 24th December 2016. This gives people the opportunity to travel back home for Christmas day. People are welcome to arrive a few days earlier and/or leave a few days later. Peter will be staying on about a week after the retreat with his family.
