The Beginner's Course is a way to discover yoga in a safe and fun space. Perfect for beginners, or anyone looking to revisit the fundamentals of yoga.
The course consists of 4 Saturday morning workshops and is offered 3 times a year, starting in September, January and April/May.
It introduces you to the classic body of yoga postures with a focus on healthy alignment principles. The course builds upon core poses and works at a pace that ensures learning. You will be introduced to breathing practices and will build strength, flexibility and knowledge creating a solid foundation for your yoga practice.
You will learn to cultivate greater mental clarity and calmness.
In this course, students will receive personal attention from experienced teachers week to week, an ideal environment for learning. On completion of the course you will have the experience, confidence and knowledge to attend the open class and the Vedanta Centre Level 2 classes.
